Booking Terms & Refund Policy

These are the terms and conditions for booking and attending our Make The Ask (MTA) fundraising workshops.
About our workshops
ManageKind Ltd offers Make The Ask (MTA) workshops - fundraising confidence training for charity staff and volunteers.
Each booking includes:

A 2.5-hour live workshop delivered via Zoom

Access to our 6-week post-workshop challenge

Workshop materials and resources

Email support during the challenge period
Booking and payment
How to book
You can book through our website using the Ticket Tailor booking widget. Your booking is not complete, and your place is not reserved, until we have received full payment.
Pricing
Current beta pricing (all prices include VAT):

Individual booking: £49 per person

Team booking (5-9 people): £42 per person

Team booking (10-12 people): £39 per person
Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking

Payment is processed securely through Stripe via Ticket Tailor

We accept major credit and debit cards

You'll receive a payment confirmation email immediately after booking
Team bookings
If you're booking for a team:
-
When you book multiple tickets, all team members are booked for the specific workshop session (date and time) you selected

All team members must attend that same session
-
If you need to move individual team members to a different session, contact info@managekind.com at least 7 days before the original workshop - we'll accommodate where space allows
-
Individual team member details are collected during the workshop
-
The 6-week challenge starts the day after each person attends their workshop
Testimonials and case studies
We may ask if you'd be willing to provide a testimonial or participate in a case study about your experience.
If you agree to provide a testimonial:

We may use your name, job title, and charity name alongside your testimonial

We may use your testimonial on our website, social media, and marketing materials
-
You're free to decline or withdraw your testimonial at any time by contacting info@managekind.com
For charity case studies, we'll always agree the specific details with you before publishing.
Your 7-day money-back guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our training. If you attend the full 2.5-hour workshop and are not satisfied, you can request a full refund within 7 days of the workshop date - no questions asked.
This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
To qualify for the guarantee:

You must attend the entire workshop (late arrival or early departure may affect eligibility)

Request your refund within 7 days of the workshop date

Refunds will be processed within 14 working days to your original payment method.
Cancellations and changes
If you need to cancel or change your booking
More than 7 days before the workshop:

We'll transfer you to another workshop date at no additional charge

Or provide a full refund if you prefer
Less than 7 days before the workshop:

We cannot offer refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop

We may transfer you to another date at our discretion, subject to availability

You can still claim a refund under our money-back guarantee if you attend and are not satisfied
For team bookings:

Individual team members cannot be refunded or transferred separately

The team booking organiser must make all cancellation or change requests
If we cancel or reschedule
If we cancel your workshop:

We'll give you as much notice as possible

You'll receive a full refund automatically

Or you can transfer to another available date
If we need to reschedule:

We'll contact you with the new date and time

If you can't attend the rescheduled session, you can transfer to another date or receive a full refund
Your obligations
When you book a workshop, you agree to:
Attendance

Attend the workshop on time and stay for the full 2.5-hour session

Have a working internet connection and device capable of running Zoom
-
Be in a suitable environment with minimal distractions
-
Have your camera on during the workshop (helps create a better learning environment)
Participation

Engage respectfully with the facilitator and other participants
-
Complete any pre-workshop materials we send you

We encourage you to participate in the 6-week post-workshop challenge

Provide feedback when requested
Workshop recordings
-
Workshops may be recorded for quality and training purposes
-
We'll always notify you before recording
-
Recordings are accessible only to authorised ManageKind team members and will not be shared with other participants
-
If you don't want to be recorded, let us know in advance and we'll arrange for your camera to be off and a display name to be used
-
We may use short clips from workshop recordings in our marketing materials (website, social media, promotional videos)
-
If you don't want to appear in marketing materials, let us know in advance and we'll ensure you're not included in any clips we use
-
You can withdraw permission for us to use your image at any time by contacting info@managekind.com
Providing accurate information

Ensure all booking details (names, emails) are accurate

For team bookings, the team organiser is responsible for sharing workshop details with their team
-
Notify us immediately if your contact details change
Intellectual property
All workshop materials, content, and resources are owned by ManageKind Ltd and are provided for your personal use only. You may not:

Record, copy, or distribute workshop content without our written permission

Use our materials for commercial purposes
-
Share workshop access links with people who haven't booked
Liability
What we're responsible for:

Delivering the workshop as described

Providing a safe and professional learning environment

Protecting your personal information (see our Privacy Policy)

Processing refunds in accordance with these terms
What we're not responsible for:
Except as set out below, we are not responsible for:

Your internet connection or technical issues on your end

Results or outcomes from applying the training

Third-party platform issues (Zoom, Ticket Tailor, etc.) beyond our reasonable control

Any loss or damage arising from your participation, except where caused by our negligence
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
Data protection
We collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By booking a workshop, you consent to us using your information as described in that policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will apply to bookings made after the update date. We'll notify existing participants of any significant changes that affect their booking.
Complaints and disputes
If you're unhappy with any aspect of our service:

If we can't resolve it, you can make a formal complaint to our Director

If you remain unsatisfied, you may be able to use the UK Small Claims Court or Alternative Dispute Resolution services
